Hemming,
before it ships.
We shorten the inside leg to a length you give us, and we will either put the original hem back on so the wear stays where it was, or finish it plainly. It adds two to four working days.
Read this before you order
An altered pair cannot be returned or exchanged.
Shortening makes the goods made to your specification. Under Italian consumer law the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to a consumer’s specification, so once we cut, the sale is final. Your two-year legal guarantee against manufacturing defects is not affected in any way.

Do not order a hem on unwashed cloth
Line D shrinks 4 to 5 per cent in length on the first soak. Buy it, soak it, wear it for a week, then send it back to us — or better, take it to somebody local once you know what length it settled at.

We shorten, we do not lengthen
There is a limit to how much cloth sits inside a hem, and it is not enough to add length. The form will not accept a figure longer than the leg as it is cut.

Measure a pair you already own
From the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the bottom of the hem, with the trousers flat. That figure, not your leg length, is what we need.

Nothing is cut until you confirm
We reply with the finished length and the extra time before any work starts. If we have misread the request, that is the moment it gets fixed.
